Stitched Reviews
Andie Johnson Sews

“There are few, if any, awkward, preachy moments like in a lot of documentary films which, for me, means there was no obvious bias nor underlying objectives or crusade for the filmmakers.” Andie Johnson... read more

Generation Q Magazine

“It’s an amazing, fascinating and very accurate look into our world, by a few outsiders–people who never made quilts before this. Jena and team capture the humor we have towards our addiction as well as the tension found when people try to define what makes a quilt a quilt.” Generation Q Magazine...read more

Bella Online

“This documentary bought home to me the sense that quilters are really all the same, regardless of the level that they are creating at. We all have doubts about our skills, our ability to translate an idea onto fabric and reservations about holding our work out in front of the world stage (or local community) for all to see.” BellaOnline...read more

Michigoose's gander ar quilts & life

“As a viewer, you really do get a good idea of these three quiltmakers, their stories, purposes and techniques, as well as a sense of the wider quilt world, and how big shows like those in Houston and Paducah build stars. Although there is a sense of drama, ups and downs through the story, there was more humor than I expected in Stitched. I loved seeing Quilt Man, the Paducah guy wearing a patchwork cape and driving a Segway, scoot through the streets of Quilt City.” Meg Cox

“Original musical scores with lyrics celebrating quilt fanaticism will have you laughing and nodding your head in agreement about our fabric stash obsessions and other quilt habits,” Pokey Bolton.
